How many pair of shoes do you have? Out of those pairs, how many do you wear more than a few times a year?

Including all kinds, from sandals to boots, seventyfour.
eeehhhh, I know.... It's shameful to have so many, and it's even more shameful to know exactly the number without even have to think about it.
Most of them are in the price range $ 5-25, though, and the most expensive of all (around $100, ok, this time I'm ashamed for sure...) is a pair of short flat black boots that are absolutely all purpose. I wore them in the Death Valley and I wore them to go dancing, I can wear them with bare feet, with socks, with stockings and they never hurt my oh-so-Cinderella-sensitive-and-ever-blistering feet... so I think it was a good purchase. And they're also a travel souvenir, as I bought them in a lovely store in Helsinki. (you see them in the pic down there)
There are some of my shoes I seldom wear, but only about 5-6 pairs. Having sensitive feet, I change every day, so every pair "touches the skin" in a different place, if I wear the same pair for 3-4 days it'll end up in blisters, sure as hell.
The least worn (but most treasured hehehehehe) are the neon pink platform & 15 centimeters-stiletto-heeled sandals I bought on Sunset Boulevard LA. That shop was something unbelievable. I loved EVERY SINGLE SHOE THERE, I was plastered to the shop window like a band-aid... then my understanding and loving partner took me in the shop for a small gift. After all, I'm from Italy, how many times will I have the occasion to buy shoes on Sunset Boulevard???
I'm sure you ladies out there understand me perfectly!! :)))
What's something you should throw away, but can't?
Old shoes. Problem is, I've got feet more delicate than Cinderella's. Shoes always hurt me. When they're old and beaten they are soooooooo comfortable... and when the time comes to throw them in the bin... I just can't. They earned their right to stay :))))) So I keep wearing them until they literally fall to pieces. I know it's not chic, but I seem unable to see the "chic" in aching and blistered feet, too! :)
