What have you been putting off all weekend?
No way! I'm too anxious to put off things, if I have a thing to do I have to do it immediately or I'll keep thinking about it all the time. When it's done, it's one thing not to worry about anymore!
If you had to go on a two-week vacation with any celebrity, who would you pick as your traveling companion and where would you go?
wow, that's an hard question!!! My first choice would be Robin Williams, in a people packed place like NY. He seems such a funny and clever guy, and I'd like to comment views, people and facts with him, we'd have a lot of fun. We also seem to share the same kind of humor, very witty alternated to very idiot :))))
On the other side, if I was sentimentally free (which I'm definitely not.... I've been living, eating, sleeping, having sex, seen movies and shared cats with the same man for the last 20 years and still stoooooopidly in love with him!) I wouldn't despise some days of livin'-in-sin-at-the-Holiday-Inn with some of my fave sexy men, like Paul Stanley (yum yum yum!), John Travolta (yum yum!) or Tim Curry (not exactly a teenager but still yummy!) Oh right! Where? Who f**ing cares? :))))))
What's your favorite midnight snack?

a slice of bread, roasted almost black on the gas flame, with a drop of oil. I know blackened things are not healthy but who cares???? :)
What's your favorite type of cheese? Or, if you don't like cheese, why not?

MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMH! Cheese!!! I love it!
I can't stand sheep and goat ones but I go crazy for almost all the ones made with cow milk (but for emmental and a few others)
They mix well with all flavours, they enrich everything you cook, and they're delicious alone...
(my dietologist told me to treat them exactly like I would poisonous mushrooms.... I lost 10 kilos, but 10 months without even looking at cheese have been real hell!)
My faves are Brie (exp. Caprice des Dieux), Camembert, Gorgonzola, Crescenza (a very creamy and soft italian cheese) and all the smoked ones. And I also love an italian caloric bomb called Torta di noci (=Walnut cake): that is soft gorgonzola layered with mascarpone and walnuts.... it's so good it has to be sinful :))
How many pair of shoes do you have? Out of those pairs, how many do you wear more than a few times a year?

Including all kinds, from sandals to boots, seventyfour.
eeehhhh, I know.... It's shameful to have so many, and it's even more shameful to know exactly the number without even have to think about it.
Most of them are in the price range $ 5-25, though, and the most expensive of all (around $100, ok, this time I'm ashamed for sure...) is a pair of short flat black boots that are absolutely all purpose. I wore them in the Death Valley and I wore them to go dancing, I can wear them with bare feet, with socks, with stockings and they never hurt my oh-so-Cinderella-sensitive-and-ever-blistering feet... so I think it was a good purchase. And they're also a travel souvenir, as I bought them in a lovely store in Helsinki. (you see them in the pic down there)
There are some of my shoes I seldom wear, but only about 5-6 pairs. Having sensitive feet, I change every day, so every pair "touches the skin" in a different place, if I wear the same pair for 3-4 days it'll end up in blisters, sure as hell.
The least worn (but most treasured hehehehehe) are the neon pink platform & 15 centimeters-stiletto-heeled sandals I bought on Sunset Boulevard LA. That shop was something unbelievable. I loved EVERY SINGLE SHOE THERE, I was plastered to the shop window like a band-aid... then my understanding and loving partner took me in the shop for a small gift. After all, I'm from Italy, how many times will I have the occasion to buy shoes on Sunset Boulevard???
I'm sure you ladies out there understand me perfectly!! :)))
If you could go back and change one thing you've done in your life, what would it be?

I want to be the person I am today, and my choices and experiences have made me so, so I wouldnt'n change anything, not even the evident mistakes.
How are you celebrating St. Patrick's Day?
Of course wearing green!!! With a bright green scrunchy around my ponytail, green earrings and rings, and a shamrock pin on my jacket!
My irish dance school organized a lovely dinner in a pub, and after dinner we had all the tables removed and danced a lot of jigs and reels!!!!
I came home soooooo tired, but it was real fun!
What one object/thing would you take if your house were on fire?
No object or thing: I'd grab my cats (with their transport boxes, if time allows, for their safety) and run! meeeeeeeeeeow!
What is your favorite quote and why?
I can't seem to find the exact words, but I think Oscar Wilde said "A newborn baby is nothing but a digestive tube with a lot of noise at one end and scarce sense of responsibility at the other"
why? because people seem to find babies owwwwwwww sooo cuuuuute and I find them too noisy and usually smelly, and I'm looked at as an alien..... :)))))
Love it or hate it, many of you lost an hour of sleep last night due to Daylight Saving Time? Worth It? Do you like it more/less now that Daylight Saving Time occurs earlier (and later) in the year?
I absolutely HATE DST! First of all, I'm not so convinced it saves anything in energy or money. Then consider I hate summer, I'm more a fall/winter type, I love when sunsets come early and the evening is long and crispy cold.... so seeing the sun still up in the sky at 9PM beats hard on my nerves.... it means summer is coming, and for me (loved by mosquitoes, prone to sunburns and summerhater since always) that is DEFINITELY NO GOOD NEWS!
We used to have 6 months of normal time and 6 of DST, as DST used to start at the end of march and end on the last saturday of September (my birthday is sep.30th, so it was a nice b'day gift!) :)))
Since 7-8 years ago DST lasts to the last saturday of OCTOBER, and it's UNFAIR! Why 7 months out of 12??? And with only 5 of normal time? They stole me TWO months, not one!!!!
ooomph..... :(((((
